Stay away from rugs and cords, and use handrails and grab bars in high-frequency areas.
Simplicity Means Flexibility
What worked before may not work in the future. It may not even work day to day. That’s why simplicity means flexibility. Be willing to change the menu on quick notice, and if a person becomes attached to the same outfit, simply buy identical copies. Set out fresh wear while the patient is taking a bath. Also don’t sweat things like daily showering and brushing teeth after every meal.
