We expect updated certificates(s) experience, frequent medical check ups, flu shots, legal citizens that will have an FBI background check performed along with a variety of substance abuse drug tests with proof and plenty of strong recommendations and many years of experience.
Just as important will be kindness, promptness, able to handle stressful situations quickly and with ease, very strong verbal skills and second languages are always a plus. We look for motivated applicants that will be respectful to the patient and family treating both with the utmost dignity.
We require you to communicate with the family at their request, take detailed notes at doctor appointments and have full knowledge of the transportation systems in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs.
We expect you to be on call for emergencies with your client, dress properly and make sure your client is dressed properly. Cook, lightly clean, medication reminders, toileting, assisting with ambulation, and of course, following instructions and directions from the doctor perfectly while adding daily notes in their files.
