Many of us care for our aging parents. Yes, it is difficult emotionally and physically. Yes, our parents still look at us as children even though we are in our 50’s and they are in their 80’s+ (with their needs increasing). Yes, we know we should help, but some of their needs are beyond our capability. We may not be comfortable providing the personal care they require. Some of us do not live nearby and have demanding careers and obligations so we cannot provide the assistance needed. That’s where I come in.
